Job Description We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:
Runningbatches of ink at proper mill settings
Packagingfinished product in various containers and applying labels
Cleaning and maintaining machines to TPM Standards
Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
Weigh-Up Batches : Following proper process order of addition.Shifting between auto and manual steps
Mix Batch: Dischargingpigment and operatingmixer safely; following and adheringto all INX Mixer SOP's
Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipmenteffectiveness) standards
Creatingand maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
Canning
Operatingthe following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
Acting as a QC liaison, providingink samples, makingink adjustments, and recording data
Completingscheduled maintenanceand utilizing troubleshooting procedures.
Helping with repacks
Qualifications To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Have 3 months of related work experience
Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
Pay attention to detail
Be reliableto work assigned shift
Be flexible to work overtime as required
Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
Be able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams
Have good attendanceand punctuality
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:
Forklift experience, but we can train you
Mixing, mill, and pump filter industry background
Previous experience in the ink industry
