Responsibilities
Safely operate and control multiple boilers across different types of fuels
Preventative maintenance of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and support equipment
Pump maintenance, as well as piping and valve needs
Daily checks and logs during shift to ensure optimum operation, including water testing and chemical additions
Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the scope of operation
Electrical work as needed - 24 volt DC control voltage up to 480 volt 3 phase AC to include switches and VFDs
Facility upkeep and improvements
Ability to learn and train others on the plant system
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of plant boiler/powerhouse operation
Basic skills in welding, pipefitting, and power tools
Ability to work around process chemicals
Understanding of powerhouse equipment and the continual improvement process
Compensation: $35+ hourly DOE
