As part of the Production Department, the Welder will be responsible for performing high‑quality welding on various materials and supporting the assembly and fabrication of equipment, with a focus on precision and safety. Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and general arrangement drawings. Assemble, lay out, and fit components for welding and fabrication. Perform TIG welding with purge techniques on stainless steel, carbon steel piping, hydraulic lines, and other materials. Produce full‑penetration welds suitable for sanitary environments. Silver braze and/or solder copper refrigeration lines. Operate or learn to operate computer‑controlled orbital welding equipment. Use a variety of machine tools and metal fabrication equipment safely and competently (e.g., lathe, drill press, milling machine). This role involves working at heights and in confined spaces, with tasks requiring bending, climbing, or lifting up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Skills And Experiences
Strong mechanical aptitude, self‑motivation, and general welding ability. Proven experience with TIG welding and purge techniques. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a job shop environment. Commitment to safety and precision in a regulated production environment. What Would Make You a Great Fit
