Electro Mechanical Technician
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift openings
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyor belts, packaging machinery, and food processing and bakery equipment. You will work closely with our production team to minimize downtime and ensure that our equipment meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency. If you have a strong background in industrial maintenance and electro-mechanical systems plus a passion for working in a fast-paced food production environment, we want to hear from you. We offer a
$7,000 sign-on bonus ! Our Electro-Mechanical Tech roles range from $27.00 to $44.80 per hour plus additional pay for weekends and holidays. $5.00 per hour shift premiums for 2nd shift and 3rd shift schedules. You will join a high performing maintenance group that regularly achieves a 98.5% equipment availability rating.

Location and Facility This role is based at our flagship frozen pizza manufacturing facility in Milwaukee, WI on Canal Street in Milwaukee’s Menomonee River Valley—a state-of-the-art facility that includes an on-site bakery, high-speed packaging lines, and a 24-hour shipping operation.
Work Hours
2nd Shift: 2pm to 11pm
3rd Shift: 10pm to 7am
Our maintenance team members work every other weekend and enjoy a 5-day workweek by scheduling days off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
Overtime opportunities are also available for those who want to earn more.
What you’ll do
Support our production teams by maintaining and repairing all production lines, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
Install, repair, rebuild and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, packaging, and all other plant areas.
Be involved in all aspects of equipment from installation to rebuilding, fitting, and aligning equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards.
Demonstrate strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on controls such as PLC’s, VFD’s, servos, robotics, and programmable devices.

Utilizing knowledge from your 5+ years’ experience with mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, and electrical repair to facilitate seamless production functionality to deliver daily production goals.
Organized and methodical approach to problem solving—often in a time-sensitive, tight-deadline situation where accuracy is critical.
Designated lifelong learner with a strong interest in mastering new mechanical technologies.
Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
