Responsibilities
Examine specifications of customer orders using drawings, work orders or blueprints to determine finished item characteristics, materials, and machine setup requirements.
Fabricate work pieces as detailed by work order specifications.
Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties.
Visually inspect work pieces, by touch, or using tools such as tape rules, calipers, or gauges to ensure standards are met.
Package items for shipping and install protective devices to prevent damage during transport.
Follow company safety policy and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Generally have 0–2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience reading blueprints, work orders, or analyzing drawings.
Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
Spanish language proficiency.
