Convergint is looking for a full‑time, enthusiastic, results‑driven, and forward‑thinking Banking Service Technician II to join our amazing culture. In this role you will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on banking security equipment including security camera, access control, alarm systems, banking drive‑up equipment, vaults, safe deposit boxes, ATMs and more. Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

PLC & safety & alarm & smoke alarm system configuration – install, configurations and maintenance.

Install a variety of security & monitoring equipment. (CCTV, alarms, access control).

Maintenance, field & remote technical troubleshooting.

Offer a full range of consulting/sales support/installation/systems integration services to a broad portfolio of customers.

Operate and maintain all tools and equipment needed to support the customer’s needs 24/7 (floor and off‑site).

Identify the root cause of a technical issue, develop the solution, and provide on‑site installation or installation of the custom field solution.

Create/maintain system documents and troubleshooting reference guides.

What You’ll Need

Working knowledge of drive‑up, locking, and electronic systems specific to the banking industry.

Basic knowledge of Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) connected to the remote system.

Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Customer focus – maintaining awareness of and seeking to meet the needs and wants of the customer.

Strong communication skills both oral and written.

Adaptability – responds effectively to changes in situation or information.

Requirements Education:

High school/GED or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience:

Technical diploma and/or equivalent trade experience ( e.g. electrician), 1 year of previous technician experience within a commercial, industrial, or facilities operation setting. Experience in one or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
