Woodford Oil Company is looking for a full-time Diesel Technician to service and repair a large fleet of CMV’s at our Morgantown, WV Terminal. Our growing fleet of trucks has created the need to expand our maintenance team. Our Morgantown location has a new Maintenance Shop under construction with 2 large service bays and a wash bay with radiant heated floors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Perform vehicle greasing following assigned schedules
Perform vehicle fluid check following assigned schedules
Perform safety checks on vehicles
Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services
Perform other maintenance related work as required
Drive vehicles in / out of shop for service and test drive after maintenance
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Standards
Complete required paperwork
Qualifications
Will need to have West Virginia state inspection license or obtain one once hired
CDL preferred, but not required
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license/class A or B preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with reasonable accommodations
Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background check, which will include previous employment, criminal history and motor vehicle record review
Ability to drive large vehicles
Basic mechanical skills
