Sterile Processing Tech Certified As Needed
Join our team as a Certified Sterile Processing Tech. In this role you will:
Promote quality and patient safety in the OR by ensuring efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department.
Perform routine tasks related to decontamination, processing, sterilization and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies.
Maintain records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
Facilitate awareness and understanding of patient safety in the OR.
Prepare staff to pass survey/regulatory assessments.
This is a PRN position (5 shifts scheduled in a 6‑week period). It offers a 15% differential on top of the base rate of pay but is not eligible for benefits.
Schedule:
3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
Job Requirements
Computer skills required.
CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire or transfer.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Physical Requirements
– Medium work. Requires exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

Pay Range
– $22.08 – $33.41 per hour.
