Carpenters Form Setters (San Antonio, TX) - Austin Bridge & Road
Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking Structural Carpenters for projects in San Antonio, TX. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.
The form setter/builder is responsible for building and setting forms.
Responsibilities
Build forms and plan specifications
Set forms on line and grade
Understand proper safe use of power tools
Know and understand finishing tools such as bull float (mop), straight edge, screed, and hand floats
Concrete placement and able to finish within the plan specifications
Able to follow instructions
Assist with concrete placement
Assist with concrete finishing
Traffic control
Install erosion control devices
General site clean up
Follow safety policies and procedures
Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends
Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in construction
Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
