CNC Machinist – Mid-Level McElroy Manufacturing, Inc. is looking for a mid-level CNC Machinist to join our busy Fulton Facility. The position works on complex, high-precision parts using advanced equipment.

Salary Range Base pay: $24.00/hr – $28.00/hr Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

What You’ll Do

Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC machines with minimal supervision.

Load and secure parts, fixtures, and tools accurately on machines.

Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T specs, and machining instructions.

Perform machine setups, including loading fixtures and tools, selecting programs, setting work coordinates, and sizing in first article using measurement tools.

Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators to ensure parts meet strict specifications.

Identify and select correct materials for each job.

Troubleshoot operational and programming issues in real time.

Maintain high quality, speed, and organization of the work center.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years CNC machining experience, including 5‑axis and multi‑axis machines.

Experience running Mazak Integrex (EIA code).

Demonstrated ability to read and act on blueprints and part tolerances.

Ability to meet assigned run times and respond quickly to changing demands.

Proven track record of reliability and accountability.

Strong problem‑solving skills and a self‑driven attitude.

Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

Physical Requirements Generally 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines, and checking procedures. Job requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices should be used when possible. Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
