Set up, program, and operate machines to produce production parts to required specifications.
Essential Job Functions
Set up, program, and run various machines
Program troubleshooting
Understand and select tooling
Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications
Strong understanding of cutter compensating
Responsible for keeping work area clean and neat
Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding
Maintain simple reports such as time sheets and work orders
Read and interpret blueprints
Strong communication skills
Maintain concentration while standing
Work while standing
Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.
Requirements
Minimum one to two (1-2) years of machining experience
Knowledge of lathes, grinding, turning, and multi‑axis machines
Familiarity with controls such as Fanuc, Milltronics and Prototrak preferred
Knowledge of programming and use of G & M codes
Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
