Position Overview

Night shift Electrician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical/electronic systems in a high‑speed metal packaging manufacturing facility.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electrical/electronic systems. Follow all local, state, and federal electrical codes. Document problems and maintain equipment, operation, and safety precautions. Install and maintain new and existing electrical wiring. Maintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites while practicing safety procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; may require climbing or balancing.

Requirements

High school graduate with electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment or applicable education (trade school, apprenticeship, etc.). Background in robotics, PLC troubleshooting, or mechatronics encouraged. Working knowledge of PLCs, sensors, controls, and computer technology. Ability to read, interpret, and create electrical diagrams. Applied understanding of NEC and general electrical safety. Strong team player and ability to work safely with others. Knowledge of single and three‑phase systems up to 480 volts. Solid systematic troubleshooting skills. Committed to working safely and reliably. Desire to learn and grow. Must work twelve‑hour night shifts.

Working Conditions

Plant environment with some office duties. Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic. Wide range of temperatures based on outdoor conditions. Frequent loud noise level.
