Job Description The Bag Machine Operator is for learning the Liquibox production positions such as basic machine operation and quality testing that will lead into the machine operation to further career advancement and productivity. The essential function of the Bag Machine Operator will be operating and maintaining the bag lines to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
Assistance in setting up and operating bag machines and supporting equipment according to product specifications and as scheduled by management in a timely manner.
Training for routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to make repairs as directed.
Supply raw materials to the production floor, pack finished goods, and lift boxes of materials to load machines.
Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported to be appropriately destroyed or placed on hold for review and decision.
Fill in and relieve for other production floor positions as assigned.
Pushing and pulling rolls using operation of hoist to load on machine.
Assistance in the responsibility for printing and supplying correct parts label.
Making tape splices at the bag machine packing station.
Training on process and material workflow to aid in supply of all raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies from the warehouse to machine.
Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma.
Experience:
Experience in manufacturing preferred.
Specific Skills:
Ability to read measuring tapes and product specifications with mechanical aptitude.
Equipment & Machinery:
Pallet jacks, machine hoists.
Computer Experience & Software:
Proficient computer skills.
Environment:
Manufacturing Plant. Climate Controlled.
