Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for an Automotive Finishing company located in Sterling Heights, MI.

We are seeking reliable and mechanically inclined candidates for the Accessory Installer position.

B Crew – Tuesday–Friday, 6:45 PM – 4:45 AM Pay Rate:

$17.85 per hour

Brief Description The Accessory Installer is responsible for removing factory-installed components and installing new components on customer vehicles using power tools, measuring devices, and torque wrenches. This role requires accuracy, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Job Tasks

Review the weekly installation schedule to determine daily build requirements.

Follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) production system.

Install accessory components on vehicles, including but not limited to:

Fender flares

Front and rear bumpers

Underbody skid plates

Fog light aiming

Perform Key Product Characteristics (KPCs) to verify proper torque on bolts per customer requirements.

Ensure all work is completed according to written work instructions and dimensional technical specifications (DTS).

Identify and report any non-conforming products.

Complete a Final Inspection Check Sheet for every completed vehicle.

Qualifications and Requirements

Mechanically inclined and able to use a variety of hand tools, measuring devices, and torque wrenches.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Manufacturing experience and/or familiarity with TS16949 is an asset.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and independently.
