Position Overview The Carpenter works independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team—including the project manager, superintendent, and lead carpenter—to complete projects. The role blends high‑quality carpentry with creative problem‑solving, strong organization, and a customer‑first attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Perform rough and finish carpentry work per plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
Support project superintendents in keeping jobsites organized, safe, and on schedule.
Identify discrepancies or unusual conditions and bring them to the team’s attention.
Install framing, drywall, cabinetry, doors, windows, trim, and accessories.
Provide general construction assistance, including minor repairs in paint, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and flooring.
Communicate effectively and professionally with subcontractors, clients, and design teams.
Work independently with minimal supervision while staying aligned with project goals.
Maintain a neat appearance, a reliable vehicle, and a clean substance‑free work environment.
Lift and carry materials up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
What You Bring
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a carpenter.
Hands‑on experience in both rough and finish carpentry with knowledge across multiple trades.
The ability to read and interpret construction documents.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a positive, solutions‑oriented attitude.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Your own reliable vehicle for jobsite travel.
Commitment to a substance‑free work environment.
Tools Required
Circular saw, chop saw, reciprocating saw.
Cordless drill, router.
Orbital and belt sanders.
Full set of woodworking hand tools (chisels, saws, drill bits, blades, planes, router bits, screwdrivers, etc.).
Layout and measurement tools: levels, framing and finish squares, tape measures, and related tools for accurate layout work.
