A Snapshot Of What You'll Do
Effectively and accurately performing assembly of instruments
Diagnosing and troubleshooting the mechanical and electrical systems if quality issues arise
Communicating the status of all instruments in production to the appropriate Team Leaders
The Impact You'll Make
Completing mechanical and electrical assembly operations when assigned
Performing in-process inspections at checkpoints during the assembly process
Communicating the status and timelines of the instruments to their Team Leader
Completing any production orders assigned in a timely manner
Participating in daily production team meetings
Strictly following documented quality assurance procedures and recording needed data on digital forms
Tracking and recording labor hours spent on production orders
Troubleshooting both the electrical and mechanical systems of the instrument as needed
All other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Needed
Associates Degree in technical field or 3-5 years of electrical or mechanical experience
Proven ability to follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and testing procedures.
Working knowledge of electrical components and their usage in electrical circuits
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and schematics
Ability to use hand tools and small power tools
Preferred Skills Include
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

What We Do Anton Paar QuantaTec manufactures instruments for characterization of powders and porous materials using techniques like physisorption, chemisorption, gas pycnometry, mercury intrusion porosimetry, capillary flow porometry amongst others.
Supervision Exercised This role is an independent contributor who is a member of multiple teams, and does not have any direct supervision of staff.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, observe, communicate and handle items such as computers, machinery and other equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Position requires the ability to obtain a Passport for international travel.
In regards to organizational issues, the employee will comply with the regulations set forward in the Anton Paar Employee Handbook, except if otherwise stated.
