What You'll Do
Perform work as outlined on a repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and commercial vehicles.
Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
Complete repairs efficiently in a flat rate pay environment.
Use state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic tools and OEM software.
Work on a wide range of makes and models, specializing in International® Trucks.
Observe and record any malfunction and perform repairs, as directed by a supervisor.
Complete and assist other technicians on major repairs.
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road test vehicles when required. CDL License required for this task.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Display the ability to work in a team environment.
What You Bring
2+ years of diesel mechanic experience (preferred).
Familiarity with medium to heavy‑duty trucks and diesel systems.
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications
Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and physical examination.
Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment while providing a superior customer service experience.
Must have a minimum of two years of technical experience in the medium‑/heavy‑duty truck industry.
Must be physically capable of performing the duties of a technician per dealer requirements.
Ability to produce quality work in a flat‑rate structure environment.
Cummins Certified Technician highly preferred (x15, ISB series 6.7, and L9).
