Position Overview
Immediately hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Diesel Technician Trainee in Phoenix, Arizona. Entry level and
no prior experience required . We will pay you during training and provide all necessary equipment and uniforms. Pay: $21.83 per hour (weekly). Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off. Hours: Second Shift 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm. Contact: Call or text Jenny at

Move and service heavy‑duty vehicles: washing, detailing, fueling diesel, natural gas, or hybrid engines; record fuel activity and maintain inventories. Perform multi‑point inspections on inbound units: tire pressure, fluid levels, lights, and refrigeration units; report findings to the shop. Maintain fuel island area to Six‑Sigma standards; perform minor maintenance tasks as assigned. Complete all components of the Technician Training Development Program, including hands‑on and online modules (Service Island Training, Technician I & II). Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Zero to one year of mechanical experience with diesel engines is a plus. Must be 18 years of age or older. Proficiency in written and verbal English communication. Customer‑service skills and strong technical aptitude. Ability to troubleshoot independently, work in a team, and represent Ryder professionally. Time‑management, priority‑setting, and excellent attendance record. Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency. Basic knowledge of shop systems and machinery is preferred. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A is preferred (must obtain within 6 months). Pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background check. Regulated Tech Requirements
Obtain CDL within six months of hire. Pass all required drug, physical, road, and background tests. Must adhere to DOT safety regulations and company policies. Benefits
