Job Summary Machine Operator

– Shift: C‑Shift. Pay Rate: $21.00 (plus $2.00 shift premium). This role involves routine and repetitive duties to meet quality and production requirements.

Responsibilities

Operate machine, basic troubleshooting, making adjustments and appropriate escalation as required to maintain quality and production requirements.

Work from work orders, samples, specification book, written and verbal instructions; use small hand tools (rubber hammer, wrenches, screwdriver, pliers) and measuring/weight scale.

Obtain work instructions and properly select and load in‑process work; make adjustments in accordance with established procedures for machine operation.

Check, set controls, and reset as required for proper speed, feed, tension, or other related machine operation.

Remove completed work, properly package, identify, weigh, and store.

Consistently monitor quality of product and maintain quality standards.

Pull product samples during production to ensure quality per sampling standards.

Maintain production log, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Operator Live Log, etc. to track details of daily production.

Record time or production information on proper form; detect and report defective material, unusual conditions, or faulty equipment to proper supervision.

Observe all prescribed or standard safety rules and regulations; follow AIB guidelines, wear required PPE, submit required BBSOs and documentation.

Maintain housekeeping of work area, storage area, machine and related equipment to provide a safe, clean environment.

Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical, math, and communication skills.

Demonstrated good performance in current role.

Ability to effectively use/read tape measure.

High school diploma or equivalent.
