As an Engineering Technician Sr, you will be performing substantially complex and varied tasks in support of the engineering staff of the company. You will be using discipline related applications to compile data, build reports, and improve efficiencies to help drive business decisions. Success in this position requires the ability to build relationships, work collaboratively, and assess/analyze data to help resolve issues or improve performance.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
Leads the preparation and communication of project-related reports to business partners and leaders
Analyzes complex geological and production data to inform strategic decisions and optimize processes
Runs technical reports, creates visualizations, and engages in ad hoc analyses and reporting to support engineering decisions
Collaborates with other departments to compile and analyze cross-departmental datasets, advising on process improvement initiatives
Utilizes SCADA and internal software systems for comprehensive data monitoring and analysis
Mentors and trains mid-level engineering technicians, providing guidance and support
Oversees and manages engineering projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking
Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Required: Technical Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training and six (6) years of related experience
Preferred: Bachelors degree in engineering, construction or business and 8 (8) years of related experience
Other Requirements:
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Mentoring and/or leadership experience with a strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Preferred: Advanced proficiency in SQL and python, and GIS tools
