Perform specialized mechanical duties in the repair, inspection and routine maintenance of heavy and light automotive equipment. Work Performed
Perform mechanical duties in the repair, inspection and maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered buses, trucks, cars and other power driven equipment, with guidance and direction from upper level personnel. Assist in the machining of parts for automotive equipment and machinery according to specifications. Prepare necessary records pertaining to work performed. Assist in maintaining inventory of equipment, supplies and materials. Follow a predetermined preventative maintenance program on buses, trucks, cars and other power driven equipment. Provide technical guidance and direction to lower level personnel. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
