Job Summary We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities Must be able to read and understand operating/maintenance manuals and/or technical schematics. Conduct inspections of company fleet pertaining to on‑road and off‑road equipment in accordance with company policy and/or government regulations. Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, etc. Interact with vehicle/equipment operators, job site personnel, office personnel, vendors, and technical support to determine level of service and/or repair needed for equipment and/or job needs. Must know how to operate company equipment to diagnose problems and communicate to management. Operate and maintain overhead and truck‑mounted cranes. Maintain equipment and tools in a clean, orderly and safe condition. Perform repairs on vehicles and equipment in adverse weather conditions (hot or cold, night or day). Operate equipment such as forklift or skid loader safely and efficiently. Organize shop inventory for safe, efficient retrieval or storage. Complete required paperwork for accounting, payroll, operations or material inventory. Always work safely and take action to prevent unsafe actions, processes and behaviors. Ability to wear company‑issued Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) in accordance with company policy. Must work as needed, given unpredictability of job durations including overtime, nights, and weekends. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain regular attendance.

Minimum Qualifications Class B license with tanker endorsements. Self‑motivated, team‑player with excellent interpersonal skills. Basic skills for troubleshooting and diagnostics. Minimum 5 years experience with Class 8 trucks/construction equipment. Superior cutting and welding skills for field repairs and fabricating projects. Ability to perform various duties of a mechanic. Maintain positive customer relations and act courteous and respectful toward others.

Preferred Qualifications California Commercial Driver's License with endorsements (Tankers). Hazmat. TWIC Card. Forklift experience.

Physical Requirements Requires walking, bending, squatting, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree. Heavy work exerting up to 100 lbs force occasionally, up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 20 lbs constantly to move objects. Requires the use of hands for grasping and fine manipulations. Requires ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, hearing. Head movement/rotation in any direction. Requires climbing into Ready‑Mix and Flatbed Trucks multiple times a day. Wear company‑issued P.P.E. in accordance with company policy. Exposure to dust, fumes, gases. Exposure to outside working conditions; to cold or hot temperatures. Must work as needed, given unpredictability of job durations including overtime, nights, weekends.
