Diesel Technician

Location: Lake City, FL.
The Diesel Technician is a skilled position responsible for repairing and maintaining our customer's medium‑duty and heavy‑duty trucks.
Responsibilities
Accurate diagnosis and essential repair of commercial vehicle transmissions, rear‑ends, clutches, driveshafts, axles, engines, etc.
Disassembly and re‑assembly of various parts, components, and systems.
Quality and cost‑effective preventive maintenance.
Effective communication with the parts department and the service advisor.
Writing detailed work notes and documentation of all work performed.
Safe movement of trucks/equipment to/from shop and yard area.
Qualifications
Prior experience with commercial vehicle repair; prefer 3‑5 years' experience.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record; CDL a plus.
Computer experience necessary to perform diagnostics and research.
Basic computer and Internet skills.
H.S. Diploma; College or Technical training preferred, but not required.
Customer‑focused mindset.
Compensation: $20 - $26/hour.
