As a Gas Turbine Mechanic you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform the visual inspection of Rotating Equipment. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non‑conforming equipment, you will perform all test with minimal instruction. You will provide technical support across the business whilst complying with HS&E policies.
Responsibilities
Demonstrating familiarity with hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tooling
Accurately use precision measuring equipment (ID / OD / depth micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Possessing a deep mechanical aptitude with ability to independently comprehend complex machining or assembly drawings
Working as a team member to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment while under time constraints
Providing on‑site support as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent diploma
Minimum 5 years of overhaul and repair experience in at least one of the following areas: GE10, PGT 10/PGT 25, Frame 3/Frame 5
Good knowledge of HSE requirements and ability to follow and update safety policies and procedures
Job Description As a Mechanical Assembler in Aero you will perform various operations including, but not limited to, disassembly, inspection and reassembly of rotating equipment including gas turbines units, and centrifugal compressors from multiple OEMs.
