Responsibilities As a Contract Ordnance Assembler I at PTI Technologies, you will perform essential, entry‑level manufacturing and assembly tasks in support of the production of miniature Cartridge‑Actuated Devices (CAD) and Propellant‑Actuated Devices (PAD). You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and perform mechanical and electronic assembly operations, operate assembly equipment under close supervision, weigh and press pyrotechnic powders in accordance with approved procedures, meet assigned job completion schedules, perform self‑inspections, report run times and quantities, maintain equipment and work areas, and promptly report any out‑of‑tolerance conditions, quality concerns or equipment issues to supervision.

Qualifications To thrive in this role you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, ability to read and understand technical drawings and travelers, basic math skills, familiarity with standard measuring instruments (SMI), and readiness to work under conditions involving machinery, chemicals, noise, and explosives while using personal protective equipment.
