Drexel Building Supply, Inc.
Description
If the Prep Team provides the ingredients, you are the Master Chef. As our Interior Door Fabricator, you take precision-machined components and transform them into high-quality double doors, bi-folds, and bypass units. You are the final set of hands that ensures every door opens smoothly, closes perfectly, and looks incredible before it heads to a customer's home.
What You’ll Actually Do:
The "Double Door" Specialist:
You’ll own the assembly area for double doors, bi-folds, and bypass systems—the tricky stuff that requires an eye for alignment and detail.
Precision Assembly:
You don’t just "put things together." You assemble with finesse, ensuring every hinge, track, and panel is perfectly square and functional.
CNC Collaboration:
You’ll work in a high-tech manufacturing environment. If you know CNC, great! If not, you’ll learn how to work alongside these "smart machines" to produce top-tier results.
Work Order Wizardry:
You’ll read work orders like a pro, ensuring the right style, size, and hardware go onto every unit every time.
The Heavy Lifting:
You’ll stay fit on the job, maneuvering 50–70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
Safety First:
You’ll keep your "bench" and the shop organized and safe, because a clean shop is a fast shop.
About You:
Detail Obsessed:
You notice the small things—a gap that’s too wide or a screw that’s not flush—and you fix it on the spot.
Tool Savvy:
You speak the language of hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic systems fluently.
The "Lego" Mindset:
You enjoy seeing how small pieces fit into a larger, high-quality finished product.
Problem Solver:
When a custom order looks tricky, you don't sweat—you think. You love a good "how-do-we-make-this-work" challenge.
Growth Mindset:
You’re a lifetime learner. You soak up "need-to-know" info and "nice-to-know" tricks like a sponge.
The "Drexel" Vibe:
You put customers first and teammates second-to-none. You go the extra mile because that’s just how you’re built.
Why You’ll Love Being a Drexel Teammate: We don’t just offer a job; we offer a stake in the company.
Ownership:
You’re not just an employee; you’re an owner through our
ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan).
Security:
Full medical, dental, vision, 401k, and profit sharing.
The "Fun" Stuff:
Immediate holiday and vacation pay, plus Birthday PTO (because you shouldn't work on your big day!).
Growth:
Scholarship programs for your kids and annual charity match donations to the causes you care about.
Wellness:
Annual reimbursements to spend on your family’s fitness and wellness.
Ready to Market Yourself? We know you’ve done great things that may not be on a standard resume—and that’s what makes you cool! Tell us why you’d be a great fit for the Drexel team. Market yourself to us!
