Job Description
Maintains accurate records of sterilization activities and inventory levels. Other duties as assigned.
Operates sterilization equipment and inspects instruments, equipment, and containers to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
Performs decontamination of soiled instruments, sterilization containers, and equipment according to instructions for use (IFUs) and established protocols.
Corrects instrument sets according to current standards, established count sheets, and/or instrument tracking systems.
Maintains proper levels of inventory to ensure availability for case carts.
Qualifications
Associate degree, High School Graduate or equivalent (Required)
Technical/Vocational School (Required)
Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS)
RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $16.42 - $26.27
