Description In this exciting role, you’ll use your welding expertise to solve on‑site design and functionality challenges for our customers. You’ll be working on a wide variety of welding, fitting, and fabrication tasks often without plans or drawings, coming up with creative, solution‑based fixes on the fly. This hands‑on role is perfect for someone who loves working in the field, thinking on their feet, and tackling new challenges every day.

Your work will span multiple industries, including industrial construction, manufacturing, power plants, and commercial sites, giving you the chance to work on diverse and impactful projects. From making repairs to installations and alterations, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering quality solutions to our customers. We’re looking for someone with a basic understanding of industrial welding and a general knowledge of construction. You’ll also need to be flexible and ready to travel to various job sites, working out of town and adapting to extended hours, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and even night shifts when needed.

What You’ll Do

Provide non‑certified welding services to construction trades and to various construction, industrial and mechanical projects

Learn a variety of skills such as concrete work, rebar, masonry, welding, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching, etc. as required

Learn to weld using different techniques such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and oxygen acetylene cutting

Learn to layout steel for fitting/fabrication

Learn to read welding blueprints

Working Conditions

Sit, talk, hear, read, and write

Regularly walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms

Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Perform duties on‑site and underground at industrial locations

Work in extreme temperature conditions and environments

Perform work at a variety of heights

What You’ll Bring

1+ year of industrial welding experience or trade‑school program completion preferred

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions preferred

Possess proven SMAW (Stick) welding skills and GTAW (TIG) welding skills – testing required

Ability to recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, including cutting torches

Possess a strong mechanical knowledge
