Overview This individual will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for various projects. The role involves close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and the production team to ensure efficient and high‑quality manufacturing processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and driving innovation.

Responsibilities Specific Responsibilities Project Support

Assist with the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems for new and existing projects.

Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure that project timelines and goals are met.

Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical expertise on the selection of equipment, tools, and materials for projects.

Review and analyze project documentation, specifications, and drawings to ensure manufacturability.

Process Optimization

Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Collaborate with engineers to identify, analyze, and resolve manufacturing issues during the project lifecycle.

Perform root cause analysis of process‑related problems and recommend corrective actions.

Equipment and Tooling Support

Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and tooling required for projects.

Support the modification and improvement of existing tools and equipment to optimize performance for specific projects.

Monitor the performance of equipment and suggest improvements for reliability and productivity.

Testing and Validation

Support the testing and validation of new manufacturing processes and equipment.

Collect and analyze data during pilot runs, providing feedback to engineering teams on process improvements.

Ensure that projects are executed within the scope of safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain detailed records of project developments, changes, and test results.

Prepare technical reports, manuals, and specifications for process procedures and improvements.

Document and communicate any changes or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to support the smooth execution of projects.

Participate in meetings to discuss project progress, roadblocks, and solutions.

Provide technical training and support to operators and production staff on new processes and equipment.

Health, Safety, and Quality Compliance

Ensure that all manufacturing processes and equipment meet safety, health, and quality standards.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Assist in audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

General Responsibilities

Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation.

Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.

Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.

Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate Education, Experience, and Licenses

University Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

2+ years of work‑related experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiency in using CAD software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong technical problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project demands.
