Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service reports.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with other mechanics and service personnel to complete tasks efficiently.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in diesel technology preferred.
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
At least one year of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a related field.
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.
Ability to lift heavy parts and work in physically demanding environments.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
ASE Certification(s)
Experience with fleet maintenance
Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems
Welding and fabrication skills
