Electronics Technician II – Communications
position. The role is based in the Marshall Islands, specifically Kwajalein and Roi-Namur, and offers tax incentive benefits.
Location Marshall Islands – Kwajalein and Roi-Namur
Responsibilities
Maintain communications and navigation systems.
Repair, adjust, and align CM300 radio, Interim Voice Switch Replacement (IVSR), National Airspace Voice Recorder (NVR) systems to prepare for certification and periodic flight checks.
Use specialized test equipment and software‑controlled diagnostics to isolate malfunctions.
Repair mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
Tune, align, and adjust equipment.
Inspect equipment at specified intervals to determine operational status.
Perform operational checks.
Maintain inspection and maintenance records.
Operate advanced test equipment and test sets for associated CNS equipment.
Provide mentorship and supervise junior Electronics Technicians.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED; formal electronics training from a technical school, Class A/C military school in electronics for communications and navigation systems, or a three‑year electronics apprenticeship program with relevant experience.
US citizen (subject to a government security background investigation and eligibility requirements).
Minimum of three (3) years of hands‑on experience in installation, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of electronic systems or equipment.
Valid US driver’s license with photo.
Experience performing preventive maintenance on ground radio communications systems and related equipment, including inspecting equipment, replacing defective components, performing operational checks, and maintaining records.
Technical knowledge to solve complex problems and exercise independent judgment in supporting electronic systems.
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $110,000 ± (annual; tax‑free incentives included).
