Job Title : Drywall Finisher

Your Role at Acousti As a Drywall Finisher, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and precision of drywall installations for our commercial and residential projects. Working closely with a dynamic team, you will help maintain Acousti's high standards and reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret project blueprints to plan and execute tasks effectively
Measure, cut, and install materials, including metal molding, ensuring precision and durability
Prepare wall surfaces for finishing by spreading, smoothing, and sanding sealing compounds over joints, cracks, and holes
Embed tape into sealing compounds using trowels, spatulas, or mechanical applicators, blending joints seamlessly with wall surfaces
Apply primers, texturizing compounds, or additional coats to create smooth, paint-ready surfaces while ensuring adhesives are durable
Operate scaffolds, aerial lifts, ladders, stilts, powder-actuated tools, and lasers while maintaining safety compliance
Work independently or collaboratively to meet construction schedules and industry standards indoors and outdoors
Perform other duties as assigned, maintaining flexibility to adapt to project needs
What We're Looking for in You To succeed in this role, you should have:
Proven experience in drywall installation and repair
Knowledge of industry tools and materials
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
Ability and Willingness to travel throughout the central Florida region.
Experience in commercial drywall projects
Preferred: High School Diploma
