Measure, compare, and conduct necessary shop calculations to ensure product compliance with engineering or sales specifications, utilizing materials, methods, and equipment in the shop, including but not limited to sanders, drills, and air and electric hand cutting tools. Perform material fit‑ups and layouts with steel. Position and secure workpieces using hand tools, forklifts, and other equipment. Inspect products and equipment for defects and malfunctions. Conduct sanding and grinding operations. Handle steel breakout tasks. Assemble steel panels using bolt‑together construction. Manage material handling, including forklift operation.
