Industrial Maintenance Electrical Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift – Jefferson, TX
Position: Industrial Maintenance Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Jefferson, TX
Pay Rate: $30.80 – $35.24 per hour (based on experience) + $1 shift differential
Shift: 2nd – 3p‑11p (Mon‑Fri) with overtime possible

Responsibilities
Understand and follow safety policies and procedures; perform all tasks safely and identify risks.
Repair and maintain operational equipment and facilities.
Oversee all work to ensure proper fixes are in place.
Maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies, and parts.
Create, document, and perform preventive/predictive maintenance tasks to eliminate breakdowns.
Troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and safely, implementing corrective action and documenting new procedures.
Communicate with operations personnel to resolve abnormal or degraded equipment conditions that impact safety, quality, or productivity.
Participate in proactive maintenance activities such as RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action).
Document work in sufficient detail to capture strong historical data for future analysis.
Perform all tasks with exceptional housekeeping and maintain strong housekeeping principles in personal areas.
Identify and utilize proper tools for each job, and disregard damaged tools.
Read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
Apply lubrication principles and ensure proper lubrication on equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping systems.
Improve reliability of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping systems.
Precision‑install systems utilizing OEM specifications.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment inspection, lubrication, and access areas for new and current equipment installations.
Understand overall equipment operation/function and apply to maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and reliability.
Develop and modify preventive maintenance plans for operational equipment and facilities.
Fabricate and install various electrical, piping, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
Qualifications
Ability to promote to higher maintenance positions.
Strong communication skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Proactive maintenance and reliability mindset.
Computer proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
