Salary: $60,000 - $68,000 per year.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team in the Workers’ Compensation Department. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and transcription support to one attorney, managing legal documents, and assisting with case preparation. Prior administrative experience is required. Flexibility, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment are essential.
Responsibilities
Send subpoena requests and various other court documents.
Perform data entry, filing, and document management to ensure all case files are accurate and up‑to‑date.
Support litigation processes through document review, transcription, and preparation of materials.
Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling phone inquiries with professional etiquette.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with legal standards.
Qualifications
Ability to perform detailed proofreading and transcription tasks accurately.
Ability to handle administrative responsibilities such as filing, document review, phone etiquette, and clerical tasks efficiently within a busy office environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Very detail oriented.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiar with Microsoft Office.
Ability to prioritize assignments.
Highly organized.
