Apprentice Plumber
Apprentice plumber takes direction from Master and Journeyman plumber to perform plumbing tasks as detailed below.
Apprentice Plumber Duties & Responsibilities
Assembling and installing PVC and CPVC
Disassembling and removing damaged or worn pipe
Education, Licensing and certification
Must have a valid DL & transportation
Must have or be able to obtain OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour certification
Learning to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications
Plumbing license - Apprentice with a supervising master
**MUST have minimum 2yrs verifiable work history
Must have 2 years of commercial construction experience
Skills & Qualities
Copper
PVC
Occupational hazards and safety requirements of the trade
Tools and practices used in the trade
Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs
