Our client, a leader in digital printing technology and enterprise solutions, is seeking a
Technical Printer Field Technician
to join their team. As a
Technical Printer Field Technician , you will be part of the Field Service team supporting large enterprise and corporate accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technical Printer Field Technician
Location: Louisville, KY
What's the Job?
Perform on-site mechanical and electrical support for digital printing presses, primarily HP‑Indigo digital presses
Handle customer-relation issues promptly, providing guidance and escalating problems according to established procedures
Conduct electro‑mechanical troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently
Participate in extensive travel for training, including 8+ weeks in the first year and periodic training sessions in subsequent years
Support large enterprise accounts by delivering high‑quality service and maintaining strong customer relationships
What's Needed?
Minimum vocational, diploma, or associate degree in a technical field with 3+ years of field service experience
Knowledge and expertise in HP‑Indigo digital presses technology preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills for customer‑facing interactions and internal collaboration
Ability to manage complex customer problems and work effectively within a team
