We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant responsible for purchasing, cost control, and building performance tracking. This role provides essential administrative support to HR Managers, Assistant General Managers, and Operations Managers, handling invoices, records, and office supply management.
Responsibilities
- Purchase office supplies and manage cost control.
- Track building performance metrics.
- Provide administrative support to HR and Operations Managers.
- Handle invoices and maintain accurate records.
- Manage office supply inventory and ensure timely replenishment.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel for data entry.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
- Detail-oriented with strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual (preferred, not required).
- Prior experience in purchasing, cost control, or administrative support in a distribution center environment.
- Working knowledge of PCs.
- Ability to create and maintain records, reports, logs, and spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tracking.
Work Environment
This is a temporary position based in a distribution center setting, providing a collaborative support role across HR and Operations teams. The position requires multitasking and maintaining confidentiality while working in a structured environment with clear reporting lines. The schedule is stable, running from Tuesday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Windsor, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
