Front End Loader/Heavy Equipment Operator (Birmingham) Join the team at National Salvage & Service Corporation as our next Front End Loader/Heavy Equipment Operator in Birmingham, AL. We’re a leader in recycling & salvage with a commitment to sustainability and innovation. Essential Functions Sort, grade and stack ties at the fuel yard. Basic mechanical skills. Operate a large front end loader and bobcat–tracked skid steer, secure and transport equipment. Disciplined enough to work independently. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years experience operating a skid loader. Physical requirements: Stand, walk, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, rotate, climb, bend, twist, move throughout the day; lift 50 pounds; use hands in repetitive motions; can see up close, distances, color; exposure to loud noises; outdoor position with all weather elements.
