This position supports the safety, quality, and production requirements of the facility./ppPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:/pulliSupport all safety policies and procedures for the site. Support the sites PEAK initiatives./liliEnsure optimal process setup of manufacturing machinery and peripheral equipment./liliEnsure high efficiency production and equipment manufacturing./liliProvide guidance and for Material Handlers, Set-Up Technicians and Manufacturing Technicians./liliSupport samples of new products, equipment, materials and colors./liliImplement SMED methods and techniques./liliSupport Design of Experiments (D.O.E.) on new products to optimize process and review tool designs for productivity./liliBackup to Manufacturing Supervisor for vacation and weekend coverage./liliPerform other duties as assigned./liliAll job functions to be completed in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, company guidelines and policies./li/ulpREPORTS TO: Manufacturing Supervisor/ppREQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION LEVEL:/pulliRequired: High school diploma or equivalent./liliPreferred: Associates degree or higher in Manufacturing Engineering or Plastics Technology or related field./li/ulpWORK EXPERIENCE:/pulliRequired: Three to Five years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with injection molding, blow molding or a relatable industry. Proficient with production software systems./liliPreferred: Robotics Automation, Injection, Blow, Silicone, and/or Two-shot molding experience.
