Travel Pharmacist with oncology experience
to support our client’s medical facility based in
Gold Beach, OR . This is a
contract

Job Responsibilities: Dispense and Prepare Medications
– Accurately prepare and dispense chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology medications according to physician orders. Medication Therapy Management
– Review patient profiles and medication histories to ensure safe and effective cancer treatment. Patient Counseling
– Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, and safe handling of chemotherapy drugs. Clinical Collaboration
– Work closely with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and optimize individualized treatment plans. Monitor Therapy and Outcomes
– Track patient responses, lab results, and adverse reactions to adjust therapy as needed. Regulatory Compliance & Safety
– Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, state/federal regulations, and safe handling standards for hazardous drugs. Education & Research
– Participate in oncology-related research, clinical trials, and provide education to healthcare staff and trainees.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Epic is the charting system PharmD and an active Oregon RPH license required BLS required Minimum of 5 years of clinical pharmacist experience Oncology experience strongly preferred BCOP certification preferred
Additional Information: Location: Gold Beach OR Job Type: Contract- 13 weeks 40 hours per week working 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday Rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage shared with three other pharmacists Pay Range/Salary Range: $3348/wk - $3748/wk
