Pacific Neurobehavioral Clinic (PNBC) is a specialized mental health clinic located in San Diego, CA, offering neuropsychological evaluations, psychological diagnostic evaluations, and psychotherapy services for adults (ages 18 and up). We provide telehealth therapy and evaluation services for California residents. Our team includes board-certified or board-eligible neuropsychologists experienced in working with conditions such as traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative disorders, strokes, and chronic pain. The Role: PNBC has an opening for a clinical psychologist to primarily conduct individual therapy with adults. Conditions to be treated include depression, anxiety, chronic pain, somatoform disorders, and trauma-related conditions. The Psychologist may also perform occasional psychodiagnostic evaluations. Additional opportunities for supervising interns or program development are available, as are opportunities for training and consultation for medical-legal/forensic evaluations. Familiarity with the
Workers' Compensation system is beneficial.

Responsibilities: Provide psychotherapy to adult experiencing chronic pain, adjustment disorders, somatic symptom disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in crisis intervention as needed. (Optional) Supervise junior clinicians.
Requirements: Doctor of Psychology from an APA-accredited program. Licensed in CA. A background in or related to health psychology.
