Description Unlicensed Dental Assistant

About Us:
We are a startup dental practice operating out of a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. We provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages and dental needs, aiming to become a fast-paced, diverse general practice. Our focus is on delivering an exceptional guest experience while growing rapidly
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent patient care with compassion, clear communication, and personalized attention
Provide chairside assistance for a range of dental procedures, including restorative, surgical, endodontic, pediatric, emergency, and preventative care
Collaborate with the clinical team to manage patient flow and keep all necessary parties informed
Track and monitor outside lab cases, ensuring timely communication and updates
Prepare treatment rooms, patient records, equipment, and instruments for procedures
Perform lab duties such as pouring models
Assist in managing the providers’ schedules to optimize appointment times
Handle office duties including confirming appointments, generating reports, and verifying insurance
Assist with phone duties as needed, including addressing patient needs and directing calls appropriately
Maintain accurate and concise electronic patient records
Ensure work areas and equipment meet OSHA, CDC, and sterilisation/infection control standards
Develop a strong working relationship with the Doctor and promote a team-oriented environment
Pursue personal professional growth through internal and external training and continuing education
Utilize time efficiently to support practice revenue objectives
Follow office policies and demonstrate commitment to excellent service
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized clinic by disinfecting treatment rooms and high-touch surfaces, sterilizing equipment, properly disposing of waste, restocking supplies, and ensuring all areas, including restrooms and waiting rooms, meet hygiene and safety standards.

Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism

Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Strong computer and typing skills
A proactive approach to patient and team needs
Effective time management
A comforting and reassuring chairside manner
Ability to work well within a team
Demonstrate initiative by proactively identifying tasks, solving problems independently, and staying productive without constant supervision.
Education and Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent)
Customer service experience preferred
