Job Description About the job you’re considering We are seeking a highly skilled and self‑driven Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in API and Front‑End Automation, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Your role Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI and API testing. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Lead test automation strategy and implementation across multiple projects. Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues to resolution. Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration. Your skills and experience Strong programming skills in Java. Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. Hands‑on experience with Rest Assured for API testing. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $72,800 - $169,470. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
