Continuing Education Part-Time IT/Cybersecurity Instructor Join us to apply for the Continuing Education Part-Time IT/Cybersecurity Instructor role at Penn State University . This position involves teaching in collaboration with Penn State Beaver and Penn State Shenango’s Continuing Education Department, focusing on courses such as: CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ The instructor will plan and deliver live courses via Zoom, evaluate student progress, and manage course materials. Courses are scheduled during specific weekday morning and early afternoon time blocks, and candidates must be available during at least one of these. Qualifications include a Master’s degree or equivalent, current CompTIA certifications, experience in virtual teaching, and strong communication skills. This role requires background checks and clearances, including FBI fingerprinting and state-specific checks. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are subject to approval.
