Job Title: Tax Clerk Job Description: Oldmans Township in Salem County, located at 40 Freed Road, Pedricktown, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated Municipal Tax Clerk. This part-time position will be filled on an as-needed basis, with work hours scheduled predominantly on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at the discretion of the Tax Collector. We offer a pay range starting at minimum wage and reaching up to $30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The position is available immediately. Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in municipal tax collection and a thorough knowledge of Edmunds software. Exceptional customer service skills are also required, as the right candidate will be interfacing with the public regarding tax inquiries. Independence and self-motivation are crucial for this role, as the Municipal Tax Clerk will be expected to perform their duties with minimal supervision.
