The Overnight Houseperson supports the Rooms operations of the housekeeping department with particular focus on supporting the turndown attendants, replenishing and refreshing attendant carts, maintaining the cleanliness of housekeeping storage and service areas, collecting and disposing of trash and recycling, maintaining the cleanliness of guest corridors, and sweeping, vacuuming and shampooing carpet. The evening Houseperson also works to fill guest requests. Must have the ability to work PM shifts, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is advantageous. Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks. Responsibilities Assist turndown attendants by replenishing and refreshing attendant carts. Maintain cleanliness in housekeeping storage and service areas. Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas. Ensure cleanliness in guest corridors by regularly cleaning and organizing. Perform sweeping, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing tasks as needed. Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure they are fulfilled in a timely manner.
