Garage Valet Attendant

The role of the Garage Valet Attendant is to make a fantastic impression on every guest by engaging with our guests and customers in a positive and friendly manner and being responsible for parking and retrieving their vehicles in a parking garage or similar facility safely.

Schedule: 10pm-6am 4 days, must work weekends

Responsibilities

• Keep the safety of self and others in mind at all times
• Continuously safely operate vehicles to minimize the potential for accidents
• Keep track of keys and cars throughout the garage
• Provide exceptional guest experience
• Maintain organization at operation
• Be enthusiastic about the job, creating a positive environment for the customers and teammates to enjoy
• Use professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices
• Help facilitate transition at the end of the shift
• Look sharp and neatly groomed at all times
• Cleaning duties as assigned
• Adhere to VPNE attendance policy

Requirements

• Friendly and outgoing
• Able to smile during customer interactions
• Possess an upbeat personality, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic
• Maintain uniform standards when on job premises
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
• Ability to run and move quickly
• Ability to organize cars efficiently
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid Driver's License in the state of residency
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check
• Ability to create relationships with customers
• Be organized
• Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider
