Receptionist

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our team. This role involves managing communications and supporting various administrative functions to ensure smooth operations within the organization. Responsibilities include answering and transferring phone calls professionally and efficiently, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining both open and closed order filing systems accurately, performing basic order entry and follow up with customers as required, sending email shipment confirmations to customers, organizing and managing incoming and outgoing emails to customers and vendors, assisting other departments with administrative tasks as needed, and taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential skills include strong communication and customer service skills, proficiency in basic data entry tasks, and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. Additional skills and qualifications such as experience in a manufacturing administrative role are a plus.

The position is based in a manufacturing building with over 50 employees. The work setting includes a desk and lobby sitting area, providing a dynamic and engaging environment. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a pathway for long-term employment based on performance.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Wichita, KS. The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
