Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will assist operators in the production process, ensuring that all materials meet specified standards. Additionally, the role involves using a sit-down forklift to stage materials approximately 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Assist operators in the production of materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production processes to ensure materials meet specifications.
- Perform quality checks and document results.
- Use a sit-down forklift to stage materials as needed (approximately 10% of the time).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to operators or management.
Essential skills
- Manufacturing/production experience.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly after training.
- Follow SOPs.
- Good attendance and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
- Sit down forklift experience.
Additional skills & qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to follow SOPs and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate machinery.

Pay and benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
